| Vitto’s has most of the ingredients for a perfect restaurant, friendly staff, an intimate setting, even the limited menu is promising – yet when it comes to the crunch – it lacks decent food.
The garlic bread is slightly sweet and foamy – the kind you might reluctantly buy from a 24 hour gas station and the chicken steaks are indistinguishable from the typical cheap and cheerful ‘chuzo chicken’ you can buy on the street.
It’s great to see more and more places trying to deliver upmarket cuisine, but they’ll need to drastically improve on quality if they want people to pay high prices. |
