| Trilogia is one of many large clubs in Barrio Colombia that provide live music, often including English rock n pop classics.
From a non-Colombian perspective, the performances may seem more like well-rehearsed karaoke. Indeed, if only they were slightly worse you would at least enjoy the comedy value of a truly horrendous show.
People tend to arrive in groups and it’s mostly a sit down experience with spells of dancing on or around the tables. Trilogia isn't necessarily the best place to meet new people, although things become less regimented after a few bottles of rum or aguadiente.
Late into the night, lots of balloons are released and you can celebrate or release tension by bashing innocent bystanders over the head – it’s a great ice-breaker. |
