| Royal Thai is the first genuine Thai restaurant in Medellín and as such, it’s easy to get overly exited by its arrival. But, the truth is, Royal Thai would hold its head up high in many other, more cosmopolitan, cities of the world.
Indeed, this is not Colombian-Thai food. Somebody in Medellín was wise enough to ensure the cook is from Bangkok and upon first evidence, so is the food.
The upstairs even has Thai-style on-the-floor seating – although it remains to be seen whether Paisas will be open to passing small portions of food back and fourth instead of piling their plates sky high.
