| Despite so many lyrical references to uprising and revolution, Reggae holds a fairly modest status in Medellín. That is not to say it can’t be found and one exception is Roots.
The club itself is small and the atmosphere is quite friendly despite the moody lighting. Those looking to simmer down to some conscious 70s roots reggae or dub might feel aggrieved as the tempo is typically upbeat and occasionally breaks out into full blown Ragga. |
