| Parque Lleras (pronounced ‘Jeras’) is in the heart of the Zona Rosa and usually the first port of call for anyone looking for an upscale open air restaurant or sophisticated nightclub.
It’s easy to point the finger at Parque Lleras for being too expensive or at the people for being less friendly than in other parts of town.
But, given that so many people visit from outside of El Poblado at the weekends; the reality is that you can often find a mixed crowd and a range of differently priced venues.
Medellín isn’t quite yet a 24 hour city, so if you are looking to party, Parque Lleras is best on Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays. |
