| A whiff of garlic leads a trail towards an inconspicuous looking restaurant that would be easy to dismiss, but which is quite possibly the best Italian restaurant in Medellín.
Stairs lead to a spacious, homely setting, filled with bottles of wine, where one lucky table gets its own space on the balcony.
The feeling of quality throughout the restaurant extends to the menu, as a quick glance reveals a line-up of classic Italian dishes. Needless to say, the food is excellent, especially the pizzas.
Of course, the experience doesn’t end until the fat lady sings, or in this case, until you’ve downed your free Limoncello, a sweetish lemon liquer that Italians indulge in, based on some ancient belief that is aids digestion. |
