Joggers, cyclists, kite flyers and doggy walkers unite at the top of this mountain for some fresh air and panoramic views. El Volador lies on the border between Robledo and Los Colores. With stunning 360 degree views of Medellin, specifically the tall buildings that define the cityscape of El Centro, El Volador is a great way to escape the intensity and noise of Medellin for an hour or so. It’s also a designated area of ecological preservation and home to an army training facility, so you’ll have no safety concerns despite the relative isolation. |
