| It’s as if there is some kind of competition in Medellín as to who can build the most spectacular, state of the art shopping mall.
The current leader is arguably El Tesoro due to its privileged venue above the El Poblado district looking down over the city. But, there are many others, and most would put malls in the US or Europe to shame.
Shopperholics with dollars or euros will find luxury goods at comparatively low prices and plently of good restaurants when it all gets too tiring.
Quite how these malls make money, or if that was ever their intention, is a debate for another forum. |
